Maçã assada (Roasted Apple)
A simple roasted apple dessert with honey, cinnamon and walnuts. Ideal as a dessert or snack in any season.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Remove the cores from the apples using a corer, leaving the bottoms intact to catch the natural juices. Place the apples in a baking tray and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes until the apples are tender. Remove the tray from the oven.
- Drizzle the honey over the warm centres and top each apple with chopped walnuts before serving.
