A simple roasted apple dessert with honey, cinnamon and walnuts. Ideal as a dessert or snack in any season.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Remove the cores from the apples using a corer, leaving the bottoms intact to catch the natural juices. Place the apples in a baking tray and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
  3. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until the apples are tender. Remove the tray from the oven.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the warm centres and top each apple with chopped walnuts before serving.
